The industrial revolution, growth, and economic prosperity over the past few years have resulted in huge advancements and betterment for humanity and society. This has been made possible by technological development, innovation, the search for new ideas, and the globalization phenomenon. Globalization and technological advancements have benefited businesses worldwide, but they have also played a significant role in drawing attention to and addressing the major issues, obstacles, and problems that exist globally in the fields of sustainability, ecological management, and conservation. However, the globe has seen certain negative repercussions due to economic expansion and the phenomenon of globalization. The UN's sustainable development goals and the UN report "Our Common Future" both highlight the proactive role that human resource management plays in greening the business and, by extension, the economy and society at large. Because of this knowledge, green human resource management, or GHRM, has arisen. There are many works on GHRM, but there isn't a proper theoretical, methodological, or empirical systematization of this area. An evidence-based examination of the results of GHRM's methods could be a first step in improving our understanding of the field. We carried out a thorough literature analysis of the evidence-based literature on Green HRM in order to develop these thoughts and considerations. Purpose: A thorough investigation into the aspects of green human resource management (GHRM) was conducted. The research gaps in the body of existing literature were also found by the study. GHRM is a new area of study that offers academics a chance to investigate. Methodology Approach: The study reviews the current literature on GHRM and its dimensions using a desk-based methodology. We have chosen to use an archival approach because of the review's well-defined goal. Research articles and papers published between 1994 and 2020 are the focus of the review. In order to answer a particular research issue, a systematic literature review was carried out for this study, summarizing several investigations.
