Abstract

Purpose: Purpose of this study is to find out the effect of entrepreneur’s harmonious passion on Employees affective rumination through transformational leadership the relationship.

Methodology: Data is collected from 71 entrepreneurs and their 220 employees working in service industry of Lahore Pakistan. A pen and pencil survey was conducted with a time lag strategy.

Findings: The findings of the study suggested that transformational leadership arising from harmonious passion of entrepreneurs can have an adverse effect on employees because of the volatility of both service industry and transformational leadership behavior.

 Implication: Practitioners and academics can benefit from this study by understanding the complexities of relationship between entrepreneurs and employees as discussed in the paper which will help in designing policies which are more balanced in nature and mitigate negative effect from the environment.
